FAQ
What does the UAE e-invoicing checklist cover for AI ERP and accounting software users?
About 20–25 checks across your phase and dates, choosing an ASP, master data, invoice numbering, PINT AE fields, progress billing, retention and variation orders, credit notes, archiving and who owns what. It ends with a 90-day plan for working through them. For dates, it points you to mof.gov.ae, because the official timeline is the only one to rely on.
Is the e-invoicing checklist from an AI ERP vendor tax advice?
No. It is a working aid that helps you prepare and ask the right questions. Tax treatment of progress bills, retention and variation orders, and the dates that apply to you, come from the Ministry of Finance's guidance and your tax agent. We tell you where to check, rather than printing dates that may change.
Do I need BiltIQ's AI ERP to use the checklist?
No. The checklist works with any accounting software or ERP. It helps you check whether your current system can produce PINT AE data for your ASP. If you later want Business OS, the AI ERP we build, its UAE subscription opens in Jul 2027 (targeted) at launch pricing, and it is not yet on sale.
Is BiltIQ, an AI ERP maker, an accredited service provider for UAE e-invoicing?
No. BiltIQ is not an ASP. Business OS is an ERP that produces the invoice data and works with the ASP you appoint from the Ministry's list. Its PINT AE e-invoicing support is targeted for Mar 2027, and 5% UAE VAT invoicing with a monthly VAT summary is already built. The checklist explains how ASP and ERP duties split.
