BiltIQ Labs · Sovereign Super Intelligence (SI) for robots and devices

BiltIQ Labs: robotics and embedded AI research

BiltIQ Labs is the research arm of BiltIQ AI. It holds three projects: BiltIQ ROS, an autonomy stack for robots that is tested in simulation; Qbit, a desk companion that is a working lab prototype; and Qbit Play, initial R&D toward an AI companion for children. None of them is on sale, and no launch date is set.

Research projects

Here we take the idea behind our sovereign SI, intelligence that runs on hardware you own, off the server and into machines. Everything on this page is research. Nothing here is on sale, and no date is promised.

BiltIQ ROS

Agent OS for robots. The BiltIQ Rover runs its own autonomy stack: an SI agent that plans with an open model, plus mapping, navigation, return-to-base and safety checks. Every motion command passes a motion gate the model cannot override, the same idea as the Agent OS platform gate. The full rover stack is tested in simulation, with 975 automated tests passing. It does not use ROS 2 middleware yet. On the bench rover, motion stays gated while drivers and sensors are commissioned.

Qbit

A desk companion with an SI inside. It has a small screen face, a clock and a wake word, and it answers spoken questions through an open model on a local server. It runs our own firmware on an ESP32-S3. It is a working prototype in our lab; the service behind it is still a design.

Initial R&D · not a product yet · not on sale

Qbit Play

Initial R&D toward an SI companion for children: one that plays with a child, teaches them and lets them learn at their own pace. Today it is a first research build. If it works, we redesign it as a product.

Labs projects are research. Specifications and timelines may change. We don't take orders or deposits for them.
