We'll walk you through it on sample data.

Approvals

Approval workflow with AI: how Business OS works

In Business OS, the AI copilot can propose changes through 66 tools. The 23 that change data wait for a person: each proposal is frozen with a preview in the approval inbox, and it expires after 72 hours if nobody approves it. Role permissions are closed by default, and every copilot call goes to an append-only log. CRM, sales, accounts, projects and HR share this one approval path. For how approvals work in Tally or Zoho, see each vendor's current documentation; features vary by product and edition.

FAQ

FAQ

Can the Business OS AI ERP import data from Tally or Zoho?

Not directly yet. Business OS has no Tally or Zoho importer; it is on the roadmap. Today, opening balances are set per account at go-live, and inventory, production BOMs and HR attendance import from Excel or CSV. BiltIQ scopes the move on a scoping call and confirms it in a written phase-1 plan before you commit.

How is AI approval in Business OS different from Tally or Zoho?

We can only speak for Business OS. Its AI copilot proposes changes through 66 tools, and the 23 that change data wait for a person, with a preview and a 72-hour expiry. Every copilot call goes to an append-only log. For approvals in Tally or Zoho, see each vendor's current documentation, because features vary by product and edition.

Does the Business OS AI accounting software handle GST?

Yes. GST and GSTR-1 export are built, along with double-entry books, a TDS register and certificates, and bank reconciliation. 5% UAE VAT invoicing and a monthly VAT summary are built too. IRN e-invoice and the e-way bill API are roadmap items, so a firm that must issue e-invoices with an IRN today should not plan on Business OS for that yet.

Should we switch from Tally or Zoho to an AI ERP now?

Not yet, if you need something on sale today. The Business OS subscription opens in Jul 2027 (targeted) at launch pricing of ₹3,500 a month per firm, and it is not yet on sale. If one pipeline with your SI proposing and a person approving suits you, join the 2027 waitlist and plan the move with us.

Is the Business OS AI ERP available in the UAE as well?

It is planned for the UAE as the same product. 5% UAE VAT invoicing and a monthly VAT summary built; subscription not yet on sale (opens Jul 2027, targeted). PINT AE e-invoicing is targeted for Mar 2027, and the UAE launch pricing is $12K a year per firm plus $15K implementation. BiltIQ is not an accredited service provider, so UAE firms appoint their own.
